KIRA128 IR over IP System

The new Keene KIRA128 Module allows you to control any IR device from any web browser anywhere in the world!

The Keene IR anywhere modules allow IR control of almost any equipment via TCP/IP network. The KIRA128 can learn up to 128 IR codes and store them in its on-board memory. It contains its own web server and the control pages can be accessed by any device with a web browser, be it desktop, mobile or PDA from anywhere on the local network or internet. It also contains built-in support for a dynamic DNS client to cater for non-static IP addresses.

The KIRA128 is compatible with 36-40K IR signals which covers the majority of domestic AV equipment. A wide band IR receiver can be purchased separately that will extend the range to cover 20KHz to 120KHz if required. The IR Inputs and outputs are fully compatible with the Keene IR Distribution range allowing a wide range of different receivers and emitter wands to be incorporated.

IR Panel Mount Receivers

The new Keene IR Panel Mount Receivers provide discrete installation options for IR distribution systems.

In addition to the black or white finishes, Keene have now launched all metal versions of the IR panel mount receivers in either Brass or Chrome finish. They can be mounted within AV cabinets, studded walls and ceilings. At just 30mm visible diameter they provide the installer with a discrete yet effective means of IR control wherever the equipment may be located. Operating in the filtered 36-40KHz band (plasma friendly) ensures wide compatibility with almost all AV equipment The IR receivers can be used with the entire Keene IR distribution range including the IRBKIT, the internet compatible IR Anywhere, KIRA128 and IR Commander Matrix.
