Crestron Focuses on Lighting Control, Digital Media and Prodigy Ranges at the Home Technology Event (10/5/2010)

Stand B10, CEDIA Home Technology Event 2010

Control & automation specialist Crestron is delighted to be at the Home Technology Event this year and, according to Marketing Manager Petra van Meeuwen, the stand will be focused on three main product ranges: “In June 2010 we will be able to reveal new product developments in our lighting control, Digital Media and Prodigy Ranges. The show provides us with just the right environment to meet integrators from all over the UK, and we will be revealing the winners in our annual awards programme. We will be showing new additions to our hugely popular Digital Media and Lighting Control solutions, but the main focus for the event will be on the new Prodigy range. This simple and affordable solution gives our dealers the opportunity to expand their market to provide home control for every lifestyle and budget. Now, with Crestron Prodigy virtually any homeowner can enjoy the benefits of affordable and reliable home automation.”

New products to be revealed…

Keeping up with new technologies is a constant driver for Crestron and the Home Technology Event is the perfect platform to experience Prodigy and Digital Media in person. Also, Crestron’s Green Light lighting control solutions will be on show – the company has the products and technology to provide individual control for LED light loads and Crestron GreenLight systems can work with any LED transformer on the market. The stand will also host the first UK showing of a number of innovations including wireless solutions, ideal for the retrofit market and news on our extended offering in keypads and faceplates. Not only that, but we will be running Manufacturer Training as well as revealing the winners in our hotly-contested annual Integration Awards – showcasing the very best installations of Crestron in the residential market.

Digital Media – HDMI & Digital Video In plain sight

Crestron has dedicated more than five years to researching HDMI/HDCP and developing DM technology. On Stand B10, delegates will see for themselves the revolutionary DigitalMedia system.

Crestron Digital Media is the ideal system for transporting high definition video and audio over long distances using Copper and Fiber. Discover how Digital Media can help find the route cause of many of the problems seen in Digital Video Installations.

Prodigy – Lighting & AV made simple

Prodigy offers affordable, simplified control of your home and entertainment from any room in your house or any place on the planet. Keep all your music, movies, lights, thermostats and security at your fingertips wherever you are and wherever you go. You are always in touch and in control with Prodigy. Prodigy does all the thinking so you don’t have to. Crestron will demonstrate at the Home Technology Event how Prodigy can be used to deploy low cost residential solutions quickly and easily using Prodigy equipment and the Prodigy composer to build a program for an AV & Lighting system in one hour.

GreenLight Lighting Control

Crestron’s next generation of lighting controls achieve an unprecedented level of comfort, convenience and optimised energy savings - there is huge demand for these products today.  At the show, visitors to the stand will be able to explore Crestron’s lighting systems and discover how to specify a Crestron lighting solution.
