Connectivity UK Releases Control4, Crestron, AMX and RTI Control Drivers for Just Add Power's HDMI over IP Solutions (25/5/2010)

Stand B7, CEDIA Home Technology Event 2010

HDMI over IP Matrix Drivers take the headache out of programming.

Just Add Power & Connectivity UK recently made the incredible announcement that HDMI over IP (2G) delivers visually lossless full HD 1080p over gigabit LAN that’s side-by-side identical to the source content - the first and only video-over-IP solution to achieve this ambition.

Unlike competing HD/IP solutions, Just Add Power’s trump card for integrators has always been that add a £500 Managed Ethernet Switch and a flexible, any combination 48-port matrix can be created. The HDMI over IP network switch matrix provides dropout-free, instant source switching, and now of course the all-important killer feature, lossless picture quality. Undoubtedly making it the most cost-effective large-scale HDMI matrix solution for integrators.

Even better news for integrators is there’s now no longer the need to write complex and unique control drivers for each managed switch an install may use. Connectivity UK has taken all the headache, hassle and guesswork out of programming by releasing a range of ready-made 1G & 2G project drivers for all the major home automation solutions - including Control4, Crestron, AMX & RTI plus more on the way! Zero IT knowledge is required as the driver software takes care of everything, including the initial configuration of a new switch!

The network switch control drivers will be available from Connectivity UK on a one-per-project license basis for just £149.99 inc. VAT.

Pricing details for the lossless 2G devices will be publicly released on June 10. The official product launch is at the CEDIA Home Technology Event in London 15th -17th June, Stand B7.
