Stealth Acoustics Introduces New Linear Response Invisible Speaker Line (27/5/2010)

Speaker Manufacturer Elevates the Invisible Speaker space with Improved Audio Performance and Streamlined Installation.

Stealth Acoustics, the award-winning manufacturer of 100% invisible, high quality audio solutions for homes and businesses, has raised the bar once again. Stealth acoustics has announced the complete upgrade of its existing FX series product line to the new Linear Responsetm (LR) series. The upgrade will consist of a materials change resulting in easier installation, and increased performance across the entire product line.

The first upgraded model will be designated the LR6, with new LR8, LR3 models and revamped sub woofers to follow as existing inventory of older FX models is depleted. Replacing the entry-level FX6 speaker, the LR6 will retain the same easy-to-work-with footprint, classic 6” woofer, neodymium tweeter, and protected crossover present in previous versions. The new face panel material will retain all of the positive traits Stealth Acoustics products have been known for over the years but will boast a new ultra-smooth panel face, higher power handling and a more natural sound. Like all Stealth Acoustics products, the LR6 is designed to mount into a wall or ceiling, becoming completely invisible upon finishing. Like a simple drywall patch, the edges of the speaker are filled and sanded leaving the wall and speaker ready to be finished with any number of popular choices including latex paint, light wallpaper, light fabrics and selected texture coats. Advanced finishing methods such as Venetian plaster and select veneers are supported using special application techniques.
