LINDY Launches Premium Gold High Speed HDMI with Ethernet Cable (31/5/2010)

Stand F1, CEDIA Home Technology Event 2010

LINDY Electronics announced today that it will be demonstrating its range of long distance HDMI products on stand F1 at the CEDIA Home Technology Event, ICC London Excel, 15-17 June 2010. CEDIA members will be amongst the first to see LINDY's Premium Gold High Speed HDMI with Ethernet Cable. Triple shielded, this low attenuation lead provides superb clarity, definition and detail up to distances of 10m (up to 20m for Standard Speed with Ethernet), whilst the 24K gold plated connectors allow for excellent, consistent signal transfer.

Also being demonstrated is the LINDY Fibre Optic HDMI Extender a revolutionary product that allows HDMI signals to be transmitted over incredibly long distances using a standard single SC duplex multimode fibre optic cable. The unit's patent pending design makes it simple, and relatively low cost, to install High Definition displays up to 300m from the HDMI Source. Only available from LINDY Electronics, the HDMI Extender provides full support for HD 1080p, HDCP, multi-channel audio, CEC and IR remote control all through the single fibre optic cable.

LINDY's Cat5e Extender that allows high-resolution digital video and multi-channel digital audio to be sent between devices at distances of up to 35m using low cost CAT5e/6 cables will also be available for closer inspection at the Home Technology Event. In addition, to the demonstration of the long distance cables, LINDY has many of its A/V switches, converters and splitters, as well as examples from its huge range of audio, video and network cables and adapters available.
