BPT Launches Thangram Modular Video Door Entry Panel (18/6/2010)

BPT Security Systems (UK) Ltd. – a specialist in door entry, access control and gate automation – has launched Thangram, a modular video door entry panel for use with BPT’s XIP digital IP system.

Thangram gives new meaning to the word ‘modular’ in that every panel you could ever require can be configured from the seven elements that constitute Thangram. Select from an audio and / or video entry panel, access control module with keypad or RFID reader, double, single or double height single buttons, two panel colours and three interchangeable covers (metal, black and aluminium). Such incredible versatility means Thangram can be used for single premises through to large residential complexes, with minimal stock requirements or parts.

But exceptional modularity isn’t all that Thangram has to offer, as BPT claims this new door entry panel offers unparalleled video. Using the latest generation sensors that integrate sophisticated digital algorithms for image processing, Thangram provides exceptional image quality regardless of environmental conditions. In addition, a special light guiding system makes night time vision remarkably clear.

Thangram is very simple to install, featuring self locking embedded boxes and fairlead guides inside for quick wiring. For the end user, name tag replacement is a straight forward manual procedure that does not require the external cover to be removed.

As you would expect from BPT, Thangram also scores in the looks department. It’s stylish modern design with curved smooth edges and blue backlit buttons are highly attractive. It features a super slim profile - 25mm depth for wall mounted models and just 2mm proud for the embedded version.
