Anders+Kern brings new Stewart products to UK (1/7/2010)

Stewart’s new StarCam and Daily Dual products, which were launched at this year’s Infocomm, will be distributed in the UK exclusively by Anders+Kern

Anders+Kern (A+K), the Suffolk-based supplier of audio-visual presentation systems and media integration services, has confirmed that it has been appointed sole distributor of two new Stewart Filmscreen products launched at Infocomm: the StarCam integrated camera housing for StarGlas laminated rear projection screens, and the Daily Dual, dual screen projection system.

StarCam allows video cameras to be integrated into the black inlay border that frames the projected image, providing an elegant way to add videoconferencing capabilities to both new and existing meeting and board rooms. The product’s unobtrusive design makes the camera barely visible behind the screen being viewed and its mounting inside a glass port eliminates any sound transmission from the projection room and associated equipment into the meeting environment.

Able to be used with both new and existing 4:3 StarGlas rear projection systems, StarCam is also compatible with 16:9 and 16:10 image sizes. The product may be used with virtually all videoconferencing camera models.

Stewart’s other new product, Daily Dual, allows rooms to be quickly and cost-effectively converted to dual 2D/3D screen functionality. Users can easily select the desired screen at any time, instantly switching configuration from one format to the other without the need for room conversion or additional setup time. This enables a single screen assembly to be able to switch from one material to another at the touch of a button. With the rising popularity of 3D visualisation in commercial applications, Daily Dual greatly increases the versatility of any presentation or meeting room.
