HAI Adds Bronze Metal Faceplate for OmniTouch 5.7e and OmniTouch 5.7 Touchscreens (19/7/2010)

Home Automation, Inc. (HAI), leading manufacturer of integrated security and home automation products since 1985, announced that they have added a Bronze finish to the metal faceplate line for OmniTouch 5.7e and OmniTouch 5.7 Touchscreens.

The elegant faceplates are now available in Bronze (53A05-BRA), Black (53A05-BA), Gold (53A05-GA), and Silver (53A05-SA). The faceplates are machined from aluminum stock and feature a brushed steel appearance. The faceplates are anodized for a lasting finish that is resistant to fingerprints.

The new faceplates are the same form factor as HAI's six existing plastic faceplates (available in Almond, Black, Ivory, Light Almond, Silver, and White), and there are notable differences beyond the material. On the metal version, the interior bezel is rounded as opposed to squared and the speaker grill features small circles as opposed to horizontal lines. The metal version features no logos for an even further streamlined appearance.

"HAI's new metal faceplates have received such a great response that we decided to add another finish," explains Allison Read, HAI Director of International Sales & Marketing. "Bronze, especially in kitchens and bathrooms, is a popular residential décor choice and HAI is happy to make it our 10th faceplate option for OmniTouch 5.7 and 5.7e Touchscreens."
