Platinum Tools Debuts JackAX 110 Termination Tool (31/7/2010)

CEDIA US Expo 2010

Now Shipping, the JackAX Terminates all Standard Brands of Jacks,

Including 90 Degree and 180 Degree Jacks as Well as Single Row Pairings

Platinum Tools? (www.platinumtools.com), the leader in solutions for the preparation, installation and hand termination of wire and cable, is proud to announce that it will debut its new JackAX™ 110 Termination Tool at the 2010 CEDIA Expo, held in Atlanta from Sept. 23-26 at the Georgia World Congress Center, booth 3869. Now shipping with an MSRP starting at $67.00, the JackAX terminates all standard brands of jacks, including 90 degree and180 degree jacks as well as single row pairings.

“The JackAX is new and better way to terminate keystone jacks,” explained Lee Sachs, Platinum Tools, Inc. president and general manager. “The patented JackAX seats the wire into the sweet spot of the IDC for the ultimate performance and certification every time.”

The JackAX’s innovative design ensures 110 jacks are properly terminated eliminating common NEXT and FEXT failures. It utilizes standard 110 blades so no expensive die set heads need to be purchased, resulting in zero dollars tied up in inventory and increased performance, accuracy and productivity on the job site…translating to greater profitability.

“The JackAX is more comfortable to use than the traditional punchdown tool and puck, utilizing rubber molded handles for a sure grip,” Sachs continued. “Zero impact termination prevents block damage or stress and it quickly adjusts for 90 degree and 180 degree terminations, including single row pairing jacks.”

Engineered for ease of use, including applications inside walls and junction boxes, the blade is securely held in place with simple screw and it weighs in at only 10.9 oz. The JackAX comes available as the tool only, with a 110 EZ-Data blade, or with a standard 110 PDT blade.
