Niko Launches New Compatibility with Logitech Universal Remotes (2/8/2010)

Niko, the Belgian market-leading control company, has developed a new user manual and user interface to enable Logitech Universal Remote Control units to control Nikobus home control systems.

The Nikobus Home Control System can already be controlled via Niko’s own Push Button Switches, Touchpanel and the Philips Pronto.

The new user interface for the Logitech Harmony now expands this flexibility for home-owners giving them control over all the devices in their home, as well as over the Nikobus controlled functions such as lighting and curtain closing.

This increases simplicity and comfort as only one controller is required to control everything in the home - from heating to the DVD Player.

In keeping with Niko philosophy, the new Nikobus user interface requires a minimum of configuration with the Logitech Harmony universal remote. This allows for specific functions in each room to be assigned its own key for quick and easy operation.

Niko has also produced a new user manual with step-by-step instructions for operating your Nikobus Home Control System with a Logitech Harmony remote control unit. This can be downloaded from the Niko Professional website (Service).
