AWE Introduces Brand New Kinetik Labs Products (2/8/2010)

AWE Europe has unveiled details of the first products in its own brand of high quality custom install products, Kinetik Labs, with the introduction of a new series of infra-red receiver kits and CI speakers.

The new Kinetik Labs range of Infra Red (IR) distribution products features interference-free IR receiver kits, including the KLIR-SM1KIT surface-mount kit and a recess-mount version, the KLIR-RM1KIT. These kits are designed to extend the communication between an IR remote control and respective AV equipment e.g. Blu-ray player, Sky box, amplifier etc, which can be in a different room or hidden location.

Each kit features an IR receiver with inbuilt interference free DSP technology, a 4 port connection block, 2 x dual visible IR emitters, 2 x jack to jack cables for direct control connection, 4 x flexible emitter covers and a power supply. They offer a control range of up to 15m and maximum cable distances of up to 300m (from receiver to block) and 10m (block to emitter). Everything you need is in the kit including spare sticky pads for the receivers, and in the case of the recess mount version, black and white bezels to replace the brass finish if so desired.
