Habitech Offers Affordable Structured Cabling Products Designed Specifically for the Residential Market (2/8/2010) Habitech is pleased to announce a new line of ACA APEX structured cable solutions designed specifically for the CI market; as well as an HDMI wall plate balun from Vision HD.
ACA Apex ACA Apex has a range of low-profile modular cabinets designed to minimise the space requirement for a properly-terminated structured cable network. The CRIS modular cabinets will accept a range of modules for data, telephony, speakers, UHF, etc, to enable the installer to create a system from 8 ports to 256 ports. The CRIS cabinets will fit into a standard 4x2 stud wall and have curved plastic white doors to minimise impact. In addition to the CRIS cabinets, ACA Apex has launched a range of 19" modules for CI installers using standard racks. These modules include CAT5 and CAT6 24-port RJ45 modules, banana plug modules, phoenix connector modules, F-connector modules, RCA modules and a range of laser-cut NuVo EZ Port blank plates. With the meteoric growth of Sky HD and 1080P in general, ACA has launched a series of brushed faceplate modules in white and black brushes. Every time a connection is made, the resistance is increased in any cable, so the brushed faceplates enable the installer to make one less connection in the network. Vision HD Vision HD has launched an HDMI wall plate balun to complement its range of matrix switchers. The HDMI wall plate balun reduces the number of connections and simplifies the install for the developer/end user. The wall plate could, for example, be located behind the TV, and provided it is configured correctly, be presented to the end user as the Sky HD socket.
