Yamaha Announces RX-V1067 High-End AV Receive (1/9/2010)

Yamaha Music UK has announced the RX-V1067 High-End AV Receiver that supports HD audio and video sources, 8 in/2 out HDMI (V.1.4a with 3D and Audio Return Channel), HD Audio decoding with CINEMA DSP 3D, new GUI, new YPAO, network functions, and control via web browser.

Among its many features, the RX-V1067 supports 7-channel 665W powerful surround sound (95W x 7 RMS) with various formats of Dolby encoding. It also supports analogue and HDMI video upscaling to full HD 1080p, as well as 1080p-compatible HDMI, Deep Color (30/36-bit), x.v.Color, 24Hz Refresh Rate and Auto Lip-Sync compensation.

Available in black or titanium finishes, the AV receiver features an oil-damped hidden control panel that includes a USB port, aux input terminals, Zone 2 switch, a YPAO optimised microphone jack, and more.

Options include a universal dock for iPod/iPhone; a wireless dock system for iPod/iPhone; and a Yamaha Bluetooth wireless audio receiver.

The RX-V1067 will begin shipping from mid/late September 2010 with an SRP of GBP850.
