Bowers & Wilkins, Rotel and Classé debut new audio and home theatre products (20/1/2011)

Major European product debuts for Bowers & Wilkins, Rotel and Classé ISE 2011 sees the European launch of Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin, the ultimate AirPlay® wireless audio system. New Rotel RSP-1580 flagship home theatre processor featuring HDMI 1.4. The Classé CP-800, the digital pre-amplifier of the future.

Bowers & Wilkins is proud to announce that its stand at Integrated Systems Europe 2011 will see the launch of a number of exciting new products.

Visitors to the Amsterdam RAI in February will be the first in Europe to experience Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin Air, Rotel RSP-1580 and Classé CP-800. Three years ago the original multi-award winning Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin™ redefined what could be expected from an iPod speaker system. Now Zeppelin Air provides another seismic shift in audio performance, design and functionality with completely updated drive units, up-rated amplification and the latest in Digital Signal Processing to deliver improved sound quality. And while Zeppelin’s iconic shape has been retained, subtly updated styling help modernise this design classic.

The improved sonic performance is complemented by a collection of new features, foremost among which is the inclusion of new AirPlay technology. AirPlay also lets users create an easy to set up multi-room system with iTunes on Mac or PC, delivering music to multiple Zeppelin Airs around the house.

As part of the B&W Group Ltd presence at ISE 2011, Rotel will be launching a collection of updated home theatre and home installation products. The highlight is a new flagship processor, the RSP-1580. This high-end component offers the last word in video and audio technology, including HDMI 1.4 capability and a large LCD screen for monitoring any source. Also on display will be two exciting new 15 Series custom installation multi-block amplifiers, the RKB-1508, an 8 x 100W multi block amplifier, and the RKB-1512, a 12 x 100W multi block amplifier. Both of which are designed with the installation arena in mind.

Classé will also be present, and the new CP-800 pre-amplifier is bound to draw attention. Said to be the first of a new generation of stereo preamplifiers for today’s digital and analogue sources, the CP-800 offers new digital processing features including optimal asynchronous USB and full support of Apple’s iPod, iPhone and iPad range of products. Classé will also be displaying its new range of CT amplifiers.

Bowers & Wilkins will also have its comprehensive collection of custom installation speakers on display, including the CI600 and CI700 range. And for the higher-end of home theatre, the awe inspiring Custom Theatre series – perfect for bringing the Hollywood experience home.
