The new line of ultra-thin mounts provides an ultra-low profile for all types of TVs

Chief, the industry leader in professional AV solutions, is excited to present its new family of Thinstall® ultra-thin swing arm wall mounts and accessories at ISE2012.

Engineered for use with LED, LCD and plasma TVs, the Thinstall swing arm mounts collapse to a mere 1.3” (33 mm) or 1.5” (38 mm) depth while offering smooth, Centris™ fingertip tilt. High strength, forged steel and aluminum arms are utilized within the Thinstall design for extra strength. Chief’s Centerless lateral shift feature offers up to 16” (406 mm) of post-install lateral shift, while height and leveling adjustments of up to one inch can be made after the mount is in place as well. With a sleek, modern design, Thinstall mounts combine style, quality and functionality for a solution that adds to the aesthetic of a room.

All necessary hardware—including screws, spacers, and hex keys—are supplied for mounting on wood, concrete or brick walls. Multiple cable paths have also been thoughtfully provided and are enclosed with covers allowing tool-free access. A wide-open wall plate lets the installer quickly place the mount and connect power. In virtually any application, a single person can easily mount the system’s top rail and slide on the entire assembly. Total Thinstall family includes:

Thinstall Large Swing Arm Wall Mounts – TS525TU

Designed for TVs between 37-58”, the TS525TU provides up to 25” (635 mm) of extension for viewing from any angle and can support up to 125 lbs (56.7 kg). The TS525TU collapses to a mere 1.5” (38 mm) depth.

Thinstall Medium Swing Arm Wall Mounts – TS325TU/TS318TU/TS318SU

The new Thinstall Medium Swing Arm Wall Mounts support 26-52” TVs weighing as much as 75 lbs (34 kg). TS318TU and TS318SU extend up to 18” (457 mm); the TS325TU extends up to 25” (635 mm). All TS3XX Series swing arms collapse to a mere 1.3” (33 mm) depth.

Thinstall Medium Single Stud Swing Arm Wall Mount – TS218SU

Available fourth quarter 2011, the new Thinstall Medium Single Stud Swing Arm Wall Mount supports 26-50” TVs weighing as much as 60 lbs (27 kg). TS218SU extends up to 18” (457 mm) and collapses to a mere 1.5” (38 mm) depth.

Thinstall Small Swing Arm Wall Mounts – TS118SU/TS110SU

The Thinstall Small Swing Arm Wall Mounts support 10-32” TVs weighing as much as 40 lbs (18 kg). TS118SU extends up to 18” (457 mm); the TS110SU extends up to 10” (254 mm). Both TS1XX Series swing arms collapse to a mere 1.5” (38 mm) depth.

Thinstall Swing Arm Accessories

Designed to customize Thinstall swing arm installations, the following accessories are compatible with both the large and medium swing arms.

* Component Shelf – TA100

The Component Shelf sits above or below the TV to hold most AV components. Features adjustable height and an addition of only .13” (3 mm) of depth.

* Camera Shelves – TA200/TA250

8” or 12” wide shelf with adjustable height to accommodate varying camera and TV sizes. Adds only .13” (3 mm) of depth to an installation.

* Left/Right Speaker Adapter – TA300

Adjustable to fit speakers flush with the side of the TV. Adds .13” (3 mm) of depth.

* Center Channel Speaker Adapter – TA350

Adjustable to fit speaker flush with the bottom of the TV. Adds .13” (3 mm) of depth.

* Portrait Adapter – TA410

Adapter allows portrait screen orientation on all Thinstall swing arms. Adds .13” (3 mm) of depth.

* In-Wall Box Accessories – TA500/TA501/TA502

The In-Wall Box recesses Thinstall Swing Arms into the wall for a no-profile installation, allowing the TV to sit flush with the wall. Available fourth quarter 2011.
