NuVo Technologies Adds Last.fm to Music Port and Music Port Elite (21/12/2011)

Stand 1P122, ISE 2012

New in-wall amplifier for education market also on show

At Integrated Systems Europe 2012, NuVo Technologies will unveil the addition of music recommendation service Last.fm to the list of internet-based streaming audio providers accessible through its award-winning Music Port and Music Port Elite content aggregator and streaming devices.

A clever service for music enthusiasts, Last.fm assesses a listener’s musical taste through the individual’s song selections (both online and digitally stored on the user’s computer or other devices), and uses that profile to then recommend new music from its own vast and varied catalogue.

Visitors to Stand #1P122 at ISE will see how accessing this service through the four simultaneous source streams of the Music Port components offers NuVo customers not only additional variety, but also an interactive way to further engage with music.

Also revealed at ISE, will be NuVo’s latest in-wall amplifier for the education market, the WA40. This product brings easy and convenient amplification to the classroom setting. With touch-button controls for source selection, power and volume, as well as an upgraded 40-watt amplifier, the new generation wall amplifier offers a simple-to-use solution, with ample power. It also offers the option of two hard-wired rear source inputs and two additional source inputs on the unit’s front for easy additions to the system.
