Lutron Launches New Home Control Solutions at ISE 2012 (11/1/2012)

Lutron Electronics Co. Inc., experts in light control, showcases its range of energy efficient light control solutions at Integrated Systems Europe 2012. Offering the ultimate in light control and seamless integration, Lutron is pleased to demonstrate the latest functionality of its new HomeWorks® QS system and its latest range of integrated blinds and shades solutions at the show.

The launch of HomeWorks QS at ISE

With unprecedented capabilities, including temperature and audio/visual control and the ability to save energy, HomeWorks QS brings powerful new features to users and installers alike. This whole-home control solution includes expanded control functionality, wireless state-of-the-art technology to operate window coverings via Lutron’s latest robust, wireless Clear Connect™ Radio Frequency (RF) technology and the ability to dim high-efficacy lights sources with ultimate confidence.

To compliment the HomeWorks QS system, Lutron’s Dynamic Keypad and Slim Architectural Keypad allow users to control this new whole-home control solution with ease. Both keypads are available in a variety of colours and finishes. The new Dynamic Keypad, which features a wall-mounted touch interface, provides users with extensive control of the HomeWorks QS system by enabling them to also control HVAC and AV equipment in several rooms or through the entire home from a single location, in addition to the light levels.

Seamless Integration with KNX

The company’s popular GRAFIK Eye QS® system, complete with KNX integration, is also on stand at ISE 2012. Lutron’s GRAFIK Eye QS can be integrated with the company’s Sivoia QS® shades solution, occupancy and daylight sensors and a KNX keypad for the ultimate in meeting and conference room control. By incorporating KNX - the world’s only open source platform for all applications in home and building control – Lutron is offering installers the potential of linking their technology to an even wider range of applications.

Serena™ Cellular Shades: Lutron’s new Serena Cellular Shades will be on show at ISE 2012. This new shades solution integrates seamlessly with Lutron’s HomeWorks QS whole-home control solution. With the ability to control the shades from either a wire-free handheld or wall-mounted control from anywhere in the room, Lutron’s cellular shades are ideal for those looking for a sophisticated, highly convenient shades solution, which is available in a wide range of fabrics, colours, styles and textures. Providing yet another level of functionality to the range, Lutron’s Serena Cellular Shades can also be controlled and adjusted via Lutron’s iPad App.

Lutron’s Venetian Blinds with Intelligent Tilt Alignment™: Lutron’s Venetian Blinds with Intelligent Tilt Alignment™ offer precision alignment of both tilt and lift positions between multiple shades.

Roman shades with CERUS™: Lutron’s Roman shades with CERUS™ (Cord Eliminating Roman Uptake System) safety technology allow for more reliable, smoother, and virtually silent shade movement while also removing the hazard posed to children by exposed cords.
