Arcam has launched the AV950, a brand new AV pre-processor which sets a fresh benchmark for audiophile quality performance in high end home cinema installations.

The video and audio stages on the AV950 feature integral 4K “Ultra HD†and 3D video capability and also allow standard and up to 7 high definition sources to be upscaled to any resolution, where required.
Control is a vital part of any custom installation. The AV950 includes auto set-up with room correction and can be quickly and fully integrated within whole house control systems through RS232 or IP connection. For simple systems, Arcam offers a free of charge iOS control App. 12V triggers and standard IR control options are also available.
An internal tuner provides a fully integrated FM / DAB / DAB+ (in appropriate markets) radio solution. Worldwide access to radio stations is provided through the network connection, which also interfaces to uPnP audio servers. The USB port supports memory devices as well as digital audio from an iPod®, iPhone® or iPad®. An on-board power supply unit can supply Arcam’;s versatile range of rSeries accessories. This enables installers to quickly and conveniently add an Arcam rBlink to the system for audio playback via high quality aptX® Bluetooth® playback.
