Following the success of five UK-based Tech Forum events already this year, CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) has added an extra date to the calendar. On 25th November 2015, CEDIA will host its Tech Forum at The British Library in London, where the association will combine education sessions and networking with its annual AGM and a keynote presentation, led by specialist research company, Frost & Sullivan.

CEDIA welcomes Aldous Systems, Anthem AV Solutions, AWE, Genesis, Gira, Habitech, Loxone, Lutron, Meridian, Orluna, Teleste and Wyrestorm as the sponsors for this event. Not only will the sponsors be showcasing their latest products on small exhibition stands, but these manufacturers and distributors will also host a training sessions each, where the latest industry topics and products will be demonstrated and taught throughout the day.

The free to attend event will feature a keynote presentation by international research company, Frost & Sullivan. Frost & Sullivan is a consulting firm which provides market research and analysis, growth strategy consulting, and corporate training services across multiple industries. Frost & Sullivan will deliver a special keynote presentation exploring the state of the smart home market, where the latest industry developments and predictions will be explored, before visitors are invited to join in a live Q&A discussion at the end.

Following the keynote address, CEDIA will present a detailed review of the year at its AGM (CEDIA members only). This will include reports on education, marketing, membership growth, finance and more. Members are then invited to stay for an evening of networking.

“Following the success of last year’s format of a Tech Forum, keynote presentation and AGM, we look forward to welcoming both new and returning visitors to this event,” says Wendy Griffiths, Executive Director of CEDIA EMEA. “This event will provide industry newcomers and established professionals with the opportunity to learn about the latest products on today’s market from the manufacturers themselves, understand the direction the smart home industry is heading with expert keynote speakers and the opportunity to network with budding custom install professionals. For anyone hoping to get ahead in the smart home sector, this event is not one to be missed.”
