As part of CEDIA’s extended education programme for 2015, it has introduced Designer School’, a five-day programme which allows students to develop the skills and knowledge that is required to master the design process. The next Designer School training session will take place from 20th – 24th April in St Neots. Adding to its portfolio of education courses, CEDIA has developed the Design School programme to explore the critically important process of system design.  From initial contact with the client, drawing and processing documents and managing the project itself, to user interface design and third-party integration, attendees walk away from this new training programme with an understanding of the key disciplines required to offer a complete and comprehensive system design for any project, large or small. The main topics are:  Customer Relations, Design Documents and Process, Project Management Principles and Sub System Design and Integration – all of which are also one-day courses and can be booked separately depending on the individual student’s needs.
