Centro, a developer of an intuitive smart building app designed for residential, education, hospitality and corporate markets, has announced its appointment as an official Crestron partner.
The partnership marks a key step in Centro’s journey to revolutionising the connected user experience in modern environments.
“Our partnership with Crestron reinforces the message that, with Centro, users can experience truly seamless connected environments with access to shared resources, services and building systems,” said Tony Howards, co-founder at Centro. “Centro can run on existing Crestron platforms, already popular in MDUs, residences and some hospitality environments, to bring together a multitude of communication channels into a single user interface, whether that’s a user’s mobile device or a Crestron touchscreen.”
Having already appeared with Crestron at recent trade shows, including ISE, Sydney Build, and InfoComm 2024, visitors were able to experience first-hand the integration of Centro’s smart app into the familiar user interfaces of a Crestron or Crestron Home solution in both hotel and MDU settings.
Centro enables users in a more complex environment, such as MDUs, hotels or office blocks, to experience a more connected and consistent experience. The app also benefits building management or concierge from a single source of truth and an easy-to-navigate log of all communications, requests or appointments going on in the environment, making the experience more efficient.
As part of the partnership, Centro is in the process of integrating with Crestron’s portfolio of scheduling solutions, allowing customers to reserve rooms or desks from the convenience of their PC or smartphone.
