Crestron programmers turn out for 2018 Masters event

Control and automation technology specialist Crestron is celebrating the close of Crestron Masters 2018 after hosting more than 1,200 premier Crestron programmers in Amsterdam last week, to be followed by a US event in Connecticut in April.

The invitation-only training events are part of an annual conference that introduces new Crestron technology and aims to outline industry best practices. Between the two events 42 unique training classes and more than 200 sessions, as well as networking events, were held. Of the 1,200 attendees, 228 were Master Technology Architects.

Rich Sasson, director of global technical services at Crestron, said: “For the first time in 18 years, the Crestron Masters was expanded to include the top design engineers in the industry, offering the new addition of a Master Technology Architect (MTA) certification program. The new MTA certification for systems technology designers recognises the very highest level of expertise in Crestron system design and deployment.”

Robin van Meeuwen, CEO and president of Crestron EMEA, added: “Crestron Masters is all about a community, learning and collaborating and having a good time. Crestron Certified Programmers have a common passion for our industry which took this event to the next level.”
