CYP Europe has announced the appointment of Nick Bovill as European Technical & Training Manager.
Joining CYP with more 15 years experience within the audio and visual market, Bovill will be responsible for running CYP’s Training Academy at its head office in Shepperton as well as hosting off-site training sessions around the UK and Europe. Thanks to his 
extensive knowledge of the AV market and its products, Bovill will also be managing the company’s technical support team and providing input into new product development.
Bovril’s last appointment was with Samsung, where he was an instrumental member of the training team. In addition to educating internal and external staff, he was also heavily involved in creating technical support guides and videos to support products in the field whilst also testing pre-production products and managing exhibitions. He also has extensive experience as an Audio/Visual Engineer, having toured throughout Europe and written, recorded and produced music and sound design pieces that have been used extensively on TV and radio.
