Denon and Marantz are expanding the IMAX Enhanced functionality to several of their products, following the CEDIA 2018 announcement of the IMAX Enhanced audio products, Denon AVR-X8500H and Marantz AV8805.
Both brands are pushing out the IMAX Enhanced functionality via firmware update to the following receiver products: Denon AVR-X6500H, Denon AVR-X4500H, Marantz SR8012, Marantz SR7013, Marantz SR6013 and the Marantz AV7705.

IMAX Enhanced has been growing steadily over the last few years and is currently working with its global studio and content partners to make a steady stream of IMAX Enhanced versions of blockbuster movies and additional programming available.
The home theatre products from Denon and Marantz deliver cinematic performance that features IMAX digitally re-mastered 4K HDR content and DTS audio technology to consumers.
