Dolby Laboratories Chief Scientist, Dr. Poppy Crum, is providing this year’s keynote address – “The Future of Storytelling” – on Tuesday 31 August at CEDIA Expo 2021 in Indianapolis.
Dr. Crum is well known for building technologies that leverage human physiology to improve the ways we interact with the world. Her remarks will inspire smart home integrators to think about how new technology and products create new human experiences and ways of storytelling.
Looking at how humans and technology can work together, Dr. Crum is an advocate for the kind of technology that learns more about us as we use it and works to bridge the gap between rapidly evolving technology and insightful, more effective human interaction.
She is often giving on talks on the relationships between human experience, artificial intelligence, sensory data science, and immersive technologies.
CEDIA Expo 2021 will run from 1-3 September at the Indiana Convention Centre in Indianapolis. Planning for an in-person event, the show will feature networking, CEDIA training, brand exposure, and product launches, bringing together thousands of home integration professionals and hundreds of exhibitors in the smart home technology industry. Designed to bring the industry back together after a difficult year, attendees will receive concentrated access to new products, breakthrough innovations, and targeted training in a safe environment.
