CEDIA has announced it is now accepting entries for the 2020 CEDIA Best New Products Awards and Product Hall of Fame programmes.
Open to CEDIA member manufacturing companies and trade suppliers, the honours include hardware and software categories.
“CEDIA member companies are continually developing the most cutting edge products in residential technology and this programme shines a worldwide spotlight on the best they have to offer,” commented Giles Sutton, CEDIA’s senior vice president of industry engagement.
“We again expect competition this year to be fierce, showcasing the tech that is redefining the way we live every day. We’re anticipating big things from this year’s entrants.”
The Best New Products Awards recognise hardware and software technology that offer exceptional innovation and installation value for the industry, enhancing the lifestyle of homeowners.
Entries into The Best New Products Awards need to have been released and fully shipped between 30th September 2019 and 30th September 2020.
The CEDIA Product Hall of Fame accepts entries that exhibit a significant, positive impact on the industry and have brought value to CEDIA members. Products must have entered the market a minimum of seven years ago.
The deadline for submissions to these awards is 11th May 2020 with finalists being announced on 27th July 2020.
Winning products from the Americas region will be announced and recognised 8-12th September at CEDIA Expo in Denver. Winning products from the EMEA region will be announced and recognised this autumn at the 2020 CEDIA EMEA Awards event in London.
The Best New Product Awards carry a $300 entry fee but the Product Hall of Fame awards is free to enter.
