Exertis announces TCP Smart distribution deal

Technology distributor Exertis has signed an agreement to distribute a range of TCP Smart home automation Wi-Fi enabled products.

The TCP products to be taken on by Exertis include Smart LED bulbs and lamps, light switches, smart Wi-Fi plug-in sockets, Wi-Fi cameras, doorbells and motion sensors

Rod Slater, head of smart tech and IoT at Exertis, said: “TCP Smart products don’t require a hub, their products connect directly with a router, making installations much easier. Control of lights, switches, sockets and LED lamps can also be activated by voice with compatibility for Google and Alexa. With the TCP Smart range, consumers get a simple and affordable solution to home automation.”

Jessica Parker, managing director of TCP Smart, said the deal would allow the company to reach a wider audience.
