KNX celebrates 30 years this month

KNX will mark its 30th anniversary on 20 October with an online celebration.

Taking place from 10am until 8pm CEST, the event is for the entire KNX community to look back over milestones, multiple successes and the continuous growth of the worldwide KNX community.

History
Established in 1990, KNX was a driving force for a new era of smart homes and buildings. International standardised bodies, such as the CEN/CENELEC and ISO/IEC have acknowledged the technology as being a top choice when it comes to smart homes and buildings.

Now approved as an international standard and used by more than 500 manufacturers in their devices, KNX has paved the way to be a futureproof technology throughout the world.

The early focus on training, certification and worldwide availability has distinguished KNX over the last 30 years.

Today, there are 45 KNX National Groups on every continent, almost 100,000 certified KNX installers across the world, and more than 8,000 available KNX devices.

Celebrations
KNX is holding a celebration event to look back over the many achievements and to thank the KNX Community for helping towards its success.

The whole-day online session will feature the KNX Association and KNX National Groups recognising achievements from the last 30 years, looking at ongoing KNX projects, a sneak peak of ETS6, and much more.

The event will begin at 10am and finish at 8pm CEST. With no registration required, you can join the event on the day by clicking here
