CEDIA has announced that its biggest ever London Tech Forum will take place at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday 17 October, 2018, headlined by a keynote presentation from Guy Singleton, creator of The CEDIA Designer (TCD) software.
The organisation is bringing a wide-ranging seminar programme of technical talks for home technology integrators at its upcoming, free Tech Forum at Emirates Stadium, London – the 8th largest stadium in the United Kingdom.
20 exhibitors from across the sector – ranging from lighting and audio to system design – will also be showcasing their latest products and technologies at the event.
The CEDIA London Tech Forum programme will include the following talks:
- ‘Pro-Tips for Light Control on Luxury Projects’ by Sam Woodward, Lutron
- ‘Smart Home Design: Now and the Future’ by James Drummie and Stuart Tickle, AWE
- ‘CI Can be HiFi and Why High-Performance Audio is as Important as Control and Display’ by Andy Oattes, Focal UK
- ‘Leading Innovation in Video Delivery – OLED, AI HDR and more’ by Dean Little, LG UK
- ‘The Realities of AV over IP’ by Rob Thompson, RGB
- ‘Addressing the Three Rs of Acoustics’ by Neil Davidson, Genesis Technologies UK
A keynote presentation closing the day’s event, led by experience high-end integrator Guy Singleton, will talk attendees through his home theatre and media room design tool, recently acquired by CEDIA and rebranded at the ‘The CEDIA Designer’ (ex ‘The Cinema Designer’). Singleton will demo how the software can be used to create a “technically perfect home cinema or media room design,” complete with full documentation, a scale rendering of the finished theatre, and a 3D CAD model.
The CEDIA Designer was created to calculate in minutes what would typically take an experienced cinema designer several weeks, and save important design time on projects.
During the day, visitors will have multiple opportunities to talk with delegates from the 20 exhibiting sponsors, as well as getting hands-on with products.
A networking drinks reception will follow the CEDIA keynote presentation.
