Habitech, a value-added distributor of home entertainment and automation products has announced the availability of the Sonance SB46 series of adjustable soundbars, the first to offer installers the flexibility to harmonise with any screen width between 50 and 80 inches (127cm to 203cm).
Utilising a 3-way passive LCR design to deliver best-in-class sonic performance, the SB46 M and SB46 L feature a patent-pending adjustment system, which ensures easy and exact alignment every time; even if the display is changed or updated. The ends of each model slide outwards to the required width and fix with the tightening of a single screw. SB46 M is adjustable for display sizes between 50†to 65†diagonal (127cm to 165cm), SB46 L between 70†to 80†diagonal (178cm to 203cm).
Developed utilising state-of-the-art design and modelling software both models feature driver technology used by the acclaimed Sonance Visual Performance® series of architectural speakers. Each LCR channel deploys a coaxial 1†powder-coated aluminium tweeter and a 4†laminated Kevlar/Nomex midrange, paired with dual 4.5†laminated Kevlar/Nomex high excursion woofers. This configuration delivers crystal clear dialogue, defined channel separation and an incredibly wide sound stage, resulting in sound that is both natural and sonically accurate.
The SB46 enclosures are of aircraft-grade extruded aluminium with powder-coated perforated steel grilles and offer a shallow (64.9mm) profile in a satin-black finish to complete an understated look, which complements the design of today’s flat screen displays.
Both soundbars are shipped with hardware for flat or recessed VESA display mount, keyhole wall mount and table-top installation.
