High End Munich: events and presentations on offer at the show

High End Munich has unveiled its events and content line up ahead of the show that will be held May 9 to 12, 2024 at the MOC Event Centre Messe Munich.

The X-Pert Stage, a new talk and lecture format at the show in Atrium 2, will host industry experts, manufacturers and enthusiasts delivering content including lectures on theoretical principles and panel discussions.

On Friday May 10, Ellis Blackford Stroud from Klippel will present a session titled Requirements and Evaluation of Smart Amplifiers in Modern Audio Systems. The presentation will discuss the evaluation and requirements of smart audio amplifiers with regards to a planned IEC standard proposal.

A second session on the same day, The Pure Acourate Sound Project, will be delivered in German by Dr Ulrich Brüggemann, Audiovero. Dr Brüggemann will explain the defining characteristics of loudspeakers and reproduction systems, in pursuit of the desired ideal music experience. Basic requirements and background insights will be presented and highlighted. The solutions on which the project is based will be discussed and elaborated.

The events on May 10 are open to anyone with a B2B or press ticket for High End Munich.

On Saturday May 11, the X-Pert Stage will host sessions for consumers, looking at topics including vinyl playback technology, the future of hi-fi and hi-fi streaming.
