QED has introduced Performance Audio 40’, a new interconnect cable specifically designed for the transmission of stereo, line level analogue audio signals This new cable completes the upgrades and redesigns to QED’s entire phono to phono’ range, which began on its 40th anniversary in 2013.

Performance Audio 40 boasts two complementary 99.999% Pure, Oxygen Free Copper, multi-stranded conductors of different diameters. This asymmetric design assists the three dimensional sonic imagery (soundstage) by minimising micro timing errors.
The cable is terminated with new QED Anamate’TM phono plugs. These feature precision, gold-plated high purity copper, twin ground leaves and hollow central pin. These design elements combine to reduce swirling eddy currents’ in the plug, helping to maintain the fidelity of the delicate audio signal from start to finish.
Finally, the cable benefits from three layers of electrical isolation, including a floating’ ferrite jacket, which totally protect the cable from HF interference.
Naturally, in common with all QED cables, the new Performance Audio 40 comes with the reassurance of a Lifetime Guarantee.
