Crestron has announced the launch of its line of Horizon keypads, to be available in single-US-gang models in four different styles.
Designed to combine quality aesthetics and button feel, the laser-engraved keypads can be customised with programmable multi-colour backlighting and interchangeable custom top and bottom trim pieces to suit different décors. Each button can be programmed to glow in any colour, and if desired, it can programmed for the pressed button to glow up to 2-3 times brighter than the inactive buttons.
The keypads come in different button styles: single, side-to-side rocker, small up-down rocker, and large up-down rocker. They can also be ganged together in groups of 2-4.
They keypads packs in support for Cresnet wired communications for custom control as part of a full home Crestron system. Cresnet supports up to 252 keypads and other devices in total.
“These keypads provide Crestron residential dealers, as well as interior designers and architects, with incredible flexibility in both control and design,” commented Michael Short, global residential marketing manager at Crestron.
Crestron’s Horizon keypads are available for pre-order now and will be shipping from June onwards in EMEA.
