Door entry system company, Fasttel has updated its plug and play video kit FT600VK(K) to include various new features and handy options for homeowners.
Updates to the software now allows users to create access codes via the app from anywhere in the world. Users can set whether the code is valid once, for an hour, day, week or permanent to allow certain people onto the property at particular times and days.
The video kit can also now integrate with an external SIP server. When the doorbell rings, the door phone will call both the Fasttel cloud (indoor unit and four apps) as well as the homeowner’s local telephones.
The software update also allows users to connect the outpost with the Wiegand bus to any access control system.
Hardware updates include a new tool for installation in a hollow wall, allowing the outpost to be installed in a gate style of plasterboard wall. The update also now includes registration pedestals for pedestrians and for operation from the car.
