iRoom has launched the touchDock, its new flagship motorised docking station for iPads.
Designed for 10.2-in iPads or larger screen sizes, the touchDock features high-quality scratch resistant tempered glass and allows the touchscreen to sit in-wall horizontally or vertically with its flush mount flexible installation capabilities.
The new mount also integrates iRoom’s docking technologies such as iPad antitheft protection and hands-free unlocking of the iPad screen.
A key feature to the new touchDock is that it offers simple motorised removal when the iPad is needed for mobile use. Using a built-in control processor, touchDock offers AV control independent of the iPad and Smart Battery Management to prolong and increase the iPad battery life.
For use in a smart home set up, the touchDock system is compatible with professional control systems such as Crestron, Control4, Lutron, RTI, EnOcean, Savant, and others. It also connects to all popular IoT services including Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, EnOcean, or Apple HomeKit.
