Klipsch has announced the addition of two powered speakers to its Reference line.
The new products – comprised of the R-28PF powered floorstanding speakers and R-14PM powered monitors – incorporate both analogue and digital support (up to way to 24bit/192kHz resolution), as well as Bluetooth connectivity and a subwoofer pre-out for added bass.
The R-28PF speakers incorporate two 20cm woofers and a 25mm tweeter, driven by 260 watts of amplification. The R-14PM speakers have a single 10cm woofer and a 20mm tweeter, in addition to an 80W amp.
The speakers are out now, priced at $1200 (£910) per pair, with the R-14PM $400 also available for $400 (£300) in black brushed polymer.
