Monitor Audio has launched its Silver Series 8G, a seven-model loudspeaker range providing flexibility across stereo, home cinema and immersive audio installations.
The new generation comprises the Silver 500 and 300 floorstanding loudspeakers; Silver 100 and 50 standmount models; and dedicated Centre, AMS and new Silver On-Wall speakers.
The range can be configured from compact 5.1 systems through to Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 installations, with the On-Wall model an option where discreet or space-efficient installation is a priority.
Monitor Audio has made extensive changes to the acoustic platform, including its latest C-CAM drivers with RST III cone geometry, a redesigned C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter, and new crossover networks.
A new ‘Silent Flow’ port design is intended to reduce turbulence and improve bass performance.
The breadth of the range gives installers flexibility when specifying systems across different room sizes and performance requirements in residential projects.
The new On-Wall model provides an alternative where space constraints or aesthetic considerations make conventional loudspeakers less suitable, while the AMS model extends the range into immersive audio applications with Dolby Atmos height-channel capability.
Cabinet construction has also been revised, with through-bolt driver bracing and new outrigger feet to improve rigidity and stability. Finishes include High Gloss Black, Satin White and European Walnut.
