Samsung has released the ViewFinity S9, a high-resolution 5k monitor that supports up to 99% DCI-P3 colour space and reduces glare with Matte Display.
The 27-in S9 has a built-in modular 4K SlimFit camera to allow for conference calls. The monitor can be switched to entertainment mode with embedded Smart TV Apps. The monitor features 600 nits of brightness.
The S9 allows for connection Connect to Windows and select Mac devices with DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity and with Smart Calibration and a smartphone, the screen can be customised. There is a choice between DCI-P3 or sRGB colour space, preferences can be selected for colour temperature, luminance, and gamma settings without any extra tools.
The Viewfinity S9 features a metal design that works with a height adjustable screen that tilts 90 degrees to view long documents with less scrolling, and also features VESA-compatible mounting.
