UK-based distributor has announced the launch of Total Control 2.0 from URC.
With the software update, installers now have the ability to personalise their URC system with a fully customisable colour screen. They can also add images to add to the design and scheme of a room with different scenes and background settings across single or multiple devices.
“Total Control 2.0 is a dramatic step forward in controls, the biggest and most substantial platform upgrade since its launch,” commented Mal Fisher, chief technical officer at AWE.
He added: “It brings much greater flexibility, a more attractive aesthetic and faster, higher performance operation to create a significantly better user experience. Combined with its series of recent hardware innovations, this comprehensive software update puts URC streets ahead of the controls competition.”
As many 100 scenes can be pre-programmed for immediate access to a specific command with Total Control 2.0.
URC states that the update also brings the added benefit of faster speeds (across downloading, programming and response time) to installers and their customers. Integrators can make system adjustments and edits in quicker time too, which can then be pollinated across different devices across the home.
Following its debut at CEDIA 2017, URC has made Total Control 2.0 available via its portal to all its dealers via AWE. The manufacturer also released an array of controllers, including the 7-in TDC-7100 desktop controller, which brings room-to-room connections and added security (incorporating a camera, speaker and accompanying intercom system) to the home.
