Audio specialist, Bang & Olufsen has introduced Miklu Silvanto to its global leadership team as the new senior vice president and chief design officer. He will report to CEO Kristian Teär.
With extensive knowledge and experience in technology and industrial design, Silvanto has spent almost a decade working in Apple’s industrial design team, helping to create some of the company’s most iconic products. More recently, he has worked for Gemic and AirBnB.
Starting today, his new job role will see him responsible for driving the company’s design team and creating the next generation of iconic products from Bang & Olufsen.

Our design team plays a key role in ensuring that, and that is why we are also elevating the role into our global leadership team and are brining Miklu onboard to lead the effort.”

Bang & Olufsen will continue to work closely with external designer when developing new products.
