BlueBOLT 2.0 IP Power Management platform gets major update

Nortek Security & Control (NSC) has announced BlueBOLT 2.0 IP Power Management, a major update to its real-time, cloud and LAN based power control and monitoring platform to provide integrators with new tools manage power in residential and commercial installations.

Using the original BlueBOLT IP power management platform, integrators were able to manage power in their installations from anywhere with an internet connection.

The platform pairs with Panamax and Furman power conditioners to deliver power protection, performance and management for mission-critical projects across the world.

Designed to reduce service calls, it allows integrators to remotely reboot any devices causing issues, as well as maximising network health with scheduled power cycles, and self-healing network devices to save time and money.

Christos Desalernos, Nortek Security & Control power product manager, said: “Panamax and Furman have always been the gold standard for power protection and performance. Now BlueBOLT 2.0 elevates the IP power management experience, with an intuitive and exceptionally fast UI back by a robust new IP infrastructure for maximum performance and reliability.

“BlueBOLT 2.0 adds new feature that address challenges faced by integrators every day,” he continued. “The result enables integrators to be proactive in their client support, document their value to clients and generate recurring revenue for the value and services they deliver.”

As well as the new UI, the enhanced BlueBOLT 2.0 features a watchlist to enable tagging of high priority locations and devices; a faster search engine to find customers, locations and devices; and an advanced admin tool to manage access rights for individuals and groups.

BlueBOLT 2.0 can now be accessed by integrators at the BlueBOLT website.
