For the second year running, the Bristol Hi-Fi Show has been cancelled due to Covid-19.
Show organisers, Audio T, took the decision based on the concern around the recent rise in Omicron cases. The company posted a statement on the Bristol Hi-Fi Show Facebook page: “With a heavy heart we feel we have no alternative but to cancel the show for a second year running.
“While in the summer we hoped that the worst of Covid was behind us, with the arrival of the Omicron variant and the resulting measures that the government is taking, it is clear that the show cannot run without putting our visitors, our exhibitors and our own staff at unacceptable risk.”
The company has also promised a refund to any ticket holders for the show.
The Bristol Hi-Fi Show was due to take place from 25-27 February 2022 at the Marriott Hotel Bristol.
