CEDIA elects Eric Bodley to Board of Directors

CEDIA has announced the official appointment of Eric Bodley to its new Board of Directors, joining previously announced elected members, Stephan Goodhue, Jennifer Mallett and James Ratcliffe.

Amanda Wildman is also joining CEDIA’s Executive Committee as secretary.

“When we set out to fill the open positions on our board, our intention was to create a well-rounded body to fully capture the diverse, global community that is CEDIA,” said David Weinstein, chairperson of the Board. “The addition of James, Jennifer, Eric and Stephan achieves that objective.

“Their professional experience and character will help the Board provide strategic guidance to the global president and CEO, and I couldn’t be more grateful that they’ve chosen to share their expertise with CEDIA. I also want to thank vice chairperson, Jamie Briesemeister and the Governance Committee for their exceptional work researching and recommending these candidates.”

Eric Bodley has more than 40 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry and has consulted for dozens of retail and custom installation companies on sales, management and operational issues. In 2015, he founded Future Ready Solutions, a national supply source for fibre optic, signal distribution and connectivity products for the residential and commercial installation markets. Bodley previously served as president of the CEDIA Board of Directors, was names a CEDIA Fellow in 2009 and was awarded CEDIA’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.
