Crestron has postponed its Crestron Masters 2020 event amid concerns over the coronavirus.
The US event was due to take place in Orlando, Florida from 31 March to 2 April, while the European part was due to take place from 12-14 May in Madrid, Spain.
In a statement, the company addressed the concerns: “The Covid-19 virus presents our personal and professional communities with a unique public health challenge. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been carefully watching the situation, the recommendations and the actions taken by both public and private entities.
“After much deliberation and discussion, we have decided to postpone Crestron Masters 2020 globally until the fall. We feel it is a necessary step to help safeguard the health of everyone involved and committed to Creston Masters.”
The company has also stated that it will follow up soon with more information about registration fees, hotels and new dates and locations for Masters 2020.
Programming Certification Renewal will also extend until Masters is resumed in the fall.
Visitors that were due to attend the event will soon receive an invitation to a sneak peak Crestron Masters 2020 webinar.
New dates for the event will be announced soon.
