Current Audio LLC, a leading designer and manufacturer of in-ceiling speakers, in-wall speakers, outdoor speakers, soundbars, multi channel amplifiers and accessories, today has announced the appointment of Steve Reed as its Director of Business Development for the EMEA region effective immediately.
In his new role, Steve will focus on leveraging Current Audio’s position as a best-in-class designer and builder of audio products and identify new areas of growth for the Current Audio brand. “I am delighted to be working with Current Audio, and look forward to representing a great range of products which has clearly been designed by the Current Audio team with a personal knowledge of the professional installers requirements†says Reed.
For the last 30 years Steve has worked in the Consumer Electronics Industry in sales of AV products in the EMEA and other International markets. During this time Steve worked at Musical Fidelity and most recently for 20 years he was the European and International Sales Manager at Polk Audio, managing all speaker channels including the custom installation market utilizing a network of distribution partners that he developed.
