Manufacturing companies and trade suppliers have until 14 May 2021 to enter the 2021 CEDIA Best New Hardware Product, Best New Software Product, and Product Hall of Fame awards programmes.
Chosen by a panel of industry professionals, finalists and winners will compete in their respective regions: Americas or EMEA. Finalists will be announced on Monday 2 August 2021 and the winners will be revealed at the ceremonies that are yet to be announced.
CEDIA’s interim co-CEO, Giles Sutton said: “The CEDIA Awards provide a global platform to showcase the brilliant technologies residential technology manufacturers and suppliers develop each year. Thoroughly vetted, unbiased industry recognition is difficult to come by for manufacturers and product developers and the CEDIA Awards delivers a pathway for these innovators to get noticed by the integrators at the heart of the industry.”
The CEDIA Best New Product category includes new-to-market hardware and software technologies that add value to the industry and enhance the lifestyle of customers. Entrants to both new product categories need to have been released and fully shipping between 30 September 2020 and 30 September 2021.
CEDIA’s Product Hall of Fame selections should have a significant and positive impact on the industry and have brought value to CEDIA members. To be considered for this accolade, products must have entered the market a minimum of seven years ago.
