Euroscreen appoints Connected Distribution

Euroscreen, the Swedish provider of high-end projection screens, projector lifts, and AV furniture, has brought its products to the UK market through a distribution partnership with Connected Distribution.

Manufactured by Draper Europe AB, a subsidiary of the US-based Draper Inc, Euroscreen’s Swedish made screen range includes electric screens, tab tensioned models, manually operated and fixed frame screens.

For home cinemas, Euroscreen offers screens in a variety of different materials, from the Arctiq, the standard matt white surface, to ReAct 3.0, a revolutionary screen surface for enhanced light control and high contrast, even in ambient light situations.

The company has also recently launched an environmentally-friendly screen material called Xpert, which is 100% PVC free and is manufactured without the use of any hazard substances.

The FlexPerf material option allows installers to position speakers behind the screen. Acoustically transparent, the screen material works without compromising the audio quality or the picture quality thanks to FlexPerf’s white front projection surface, providing a complete viewing experience, with full contrast and accurate colour rendition.

Due to the vast range of products, sizes and options available from Euroscreen, Connected Distribution will not hold stock but will instead act as a consultant on the specifying of screens for each installation before placing the order with the Swedish manufacturing facility. However, unlike screens that are made and imported from the USA, the lead-time for Euroscreen products is very short and delivery is made direct to the installer of end-user within a couple of weeks of ordering.

“Adding the range of Euroscreen products to our brand portfolio significantly enhances our offering to home cinema focused installers,” said Mike Bonnette, Connected Distribution’s product director. “We have now achieved our objective of being the ‘one stop shop’ for quality cinema installations, with audio processing, power amplification, speakers, video distribution, projectors, cabling, and now some of the best screens available.”
