Habitech invites integrators to TechFest 10G showcase

Habitech is holding its TechFest 10G showcase next month to encourage integrators to make the jump from gigabit to multi-gigabit networking.

Held in Basingstoke, UK on January 21-22 2020, Habitech is promising an unrivalled display of 10G product availability and know-how which will be instrumental in supporting integrators making the change from gigabit to multi-gigabit networking.

In 2012, Habitech created the ProNet platform of IP tools and training after recognising a lack in IP networking knowledge, just as a major expansion in online entertainment was happening.

The platform gave CI integrators the means to design stable, powerful, scalable home networks. Habitech is now ready to pilot the introduction of the next generation of the next big evolution in Wi-Fi technology.

The Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) protocol will accommodate many more devices simultaneously through a four-fold increase in data capacity over its predecessor at speeds approaching 10 Gbps. The only obstacle to this potential is the supporting network architecture.

Habitech is preparing a big multi-gigabit showcase of products and knowledge for TechFest 10G, which will include the Ruckus R750 WF6 AP, compatible WF6-ready entry-level switch architecture from Ruckus, new 10GbE Draytek switches, 10G IP, copper/fibre termination training and much more.

TechFest 10G will also be the launch of WatchGuard’s advanced plug-and-play Firewall tech, which represents the final element in Habitech’s latest network offering.

WatchGuard’s Firebox T15, T35 and T55 table-top firewall modules are developed by a global player in enterprise-grade security solutions to be one of the smartest, most effective and easiest to install network security products available.

At the showcase, integrators will experience the reality of 10G network architecture end-to-end, wired and wireless, secure and stable, every product and technique explained by IP networking experts.

TechFest 10G will also be the platform for new product launches from Arcam, Acurus, Dahua, JVC, Lutron, Wisdom and Yamaha. It will also feature a series of seminars.

To register for the event, integrators need to complete a form
