UK integrator, Inspire Audio Visual has announced the acquisition of Cheshire-based Smart Systems Group.
The acquisition is due to complete on 1 July 2021. The merger will affirm a permanent presence in Cheshire, UK for Inspire Audio Visual.
Benjamin Davies, director of Inspire Audio Visual said: “We have been working in the northwest UK for the past five years and have always utilised a network of contractors to help manage and maintain projects. This partnership allows for a dedicated team based in the heart of a market we wish to explore further.
“Alan and the team bring a wealth of skills along with a portfolio of long-standing clients ready to join the Inspire family.”
Smart Systems Group’s director, Alan Sherlock added: “We have been looking to expand now for a number of years. While working with Inspire on some of their projects we have built up a relationship that we wished to consolidate. Establishing the heritage of the Inspire brand over in Cheshire is exciting for us along with the addition of their support systems, this will undoubtedly benefit both our legacy and upcoming clients.”
Sherlock will join the Inspire team as technical director, responsible for the logistical management of projects moving forward. Inspire Audio Visual is also looking into demonstration facilities in the northwest of the country to complement their showrooms in West Yorkshire and Surrey, UK.
