IntesisHome®, the service in the cloud for the control of air conditioning, drastically extends the compatibility with different brands and models with its new Universal Controller.
The new Universal Controller, available now on sale, provides compatibility with a great list of air conditioning brands, including Fujitsu, Fuji Electric, General, Hiyasu, Kaysun, LG, Midea, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Panasonic and Toshiba. In the coming days we will expand compatibility with many other brands, including Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Samsung and Sanyo.
By using IR technology, used by most air conditioners with wireless remote controller, the Universal Controller can get to control almost any air conditioning brand and model.
At Intesishome, we incorporate almost daily compatibility with new brands and models of AC, and this is automatically acquired by the Universal Controller when connected to the system.
The user can control from the same App and in the same way all the air conditioning units: at home, at the second residence, at the office, regardless of whether they are of different brands and models.
The Universal Controller is very easy to install and configure. It requires no physical connection to the AC unit, just install it in a suitable place and power it up (universal power supply included). The Universal Controller can identify the brand and model of the AC unit, and get automatically configured for an optimal control from IntesisHome. It is as simple as pressing the "self- learning" button on the device for three seconds, and start the AC unit from its own wireless remote controller.
In addition, the Universal Controller is not only able to control the AC unit as would the own unit wireless remote controller do, but also, and thanks to a built-in IR receiver, the user can know through IntesisHome any changes made locally from the AC unit using the wireless remote controller of the unit itself.
From IntesisHome the user can turn the unit On/Off, change the mode, visualize the room temperature, select the set point temperature, change the fan speed and vane position of the AC unit. The user can also set up scenes, timers and adjust automatic operation based on an annual schedule. All this can easily be done from anywhere, using an iPhone, iPad, any Android device, or the Web.
